when bows take over

It is no secret that the baby doll look became fashionable a couple of years ago. Catwalks and eventually streets were loaded with polka dots blouses, kitten collars, ballerinas and, of course, bows.
Following the "life curve of a trend", it should have been so exploited by now that one would think it is actually about to die. Instead, it seems to me that one of those sweet elements is gaining strength. Bows have been spotted quite a bit in the past Fashion Weeks all around the world. Nevertheless, it is not the classic, tiny, girly bow, but a much sexier, lolita version. Daring, exaggerated, extravagant, attention-drawing... Big.

They even merge with some other trends such as turbants or headbands. I can definitely see it taking inspiration from gorgeous African tribal hairdos and now that the summer is coming, it is certainly something to keep our eyes on: trendy, fresh, fashionable and outstanding. Any better combination for a summer flash? Follow your gut!
